Originally from Romania and currently based in Berlin, Iulia is a passionate film student and aspiring visual artist. With a focus on writing, directing and editing, she has worked on various projects that have allowed her to experiment with different genres and perspectives, shaping her personal filmmaking style.
At the moment, she is focusing on documenting art and young artists, as well as other less popular topics that deserve more media exposure. She firmly believes that the beauty of the genre lies not only in its realness, but also in its capacity to be uplifting, capturing stories that could be inspiring to a broader audience.
Despite her commitment to capturing raw stories through the documentary format, Iulia is also passionate about building thought-provoking fiction narratives that leave the audience reflecting on their life and understanding of reality. Always keen to join other projects and approaching all opportunities with devotion to artistic integrity, collaboration and innovation, her goal is to get involved meaningfully into the evolving film scene and create works that resonate both emotionally and visually.
