Originally from Romania and currently based in Berlin, Iulia is a passionate film student and aspiring visual artist. With a focus on writing, directing and editing, she has worked on various projects that allowed her to experiment with different genres and perspectives, shaping her personal filmmaking style.
At the moment, she is focusing on documenting art and upcoming artists, as she firmly believes that such stories deserve to reach a broader audience, having great potential to uplift and inspire the younger generations seeking role models. Iulia is motivated to push the niche further, driven by her conviction that artists should be documented while still alive and willing to tell their own stories.
Despite her commitment to capturing raw stories through the documentary format, Iulia is also passionate about building thought-provoking fiction narratives that leave the audience contemplating their understanding of reality. Through avant-garde and unconventional ideas supported by abstract personal narratives, her approach to fiction brings out a blend of intriguing yet unusual concepts with a strong experimental touch
