"Headspace" is an abstract short film that allows the audience to make up their own understanding of the relationship between the characters and the story. Ryan and Diourmyn are not only entrapped in the endless dark space, but also in each other's body, as they quickly realize that every movement they intend to make is mirrored by the other person. The truth about their situation is revealed by Diourmyn in the end, and is open to every viewer's own interpretation.
However, in its essence, "Headspace" is a movie about the twisted relationship between mind and soul, as the characters are the abstract reflection of the two, always stuck together, but often failing to coordinate. Diourmyn is the mind, speculative and driven, while Ryan is the soul, overprotective and emotional, as the endless space that contains them is the "Headspace".
