Jailed for his ambitious project to build a functional life-sized plane during the DDR, Michael Schlosser, known as the "Ikarus von Dresden", opens up about his experiences as a former inmate, prosecuted on the presumption that he was planning to flee the country. The documentary was shot at Bautzner Memorial in Dresden, and at the interviewees residence in Liebstadt, where his plane in its intact form is still being cared for by its owner.
